All right, I downloaded the videos (it's freezing all the time and makes me crazy so at least I could watch it without interruptions).
Of course, I didn't understand anything you said (you said "puzzle" during the tree game, that I understood^^), so it won't be such a great analysis, but I'll do my best.
First thing is a default I have noticed : camera moves are too fast. When you watch it in one time without pauses, it starts to be a little hard to follow. And you like to shoot the floor :D I have the same problems with my own games, so I understand the issue. It's far from beeing easy to shoot while talking to the players. So I won't be too hard on that.
Your games, even if I don't understand everything of course, seem fine to me. It's challenging and there is a welcomed diversity in your games. Preparation should have been very long, congratulations anyway. But as a professional magician, I find your "bonneteau" way too easy haha. 26,30 min in video 3 : why did you put "who wants to be a millionaire" music? I was surprised.
Here I come : the soundtrack. Well, you don't use official tracks all the time. I don't have any problem with that since your musics fit perfectly with each game. I particularly like the "baguette" track. By the way, I like the idea of making "mini-baguettes" or in english "little-baguettes", where everything is smaller. It's good.
You're very good with graphics too as I can see. Clocks are well-made, and fit good in the screen. Transitions are interesting too.
Maybe it's a litte long, but since I'm french, and since I can't understant what you're saying, it's a normal feeling : it seems longer when you can't understand than when you can.
So to conclude, keep that way
Thanks for report, many thanks.
Yeah, I have already discussed my shooting in another theme, it's very hard to look for sand clocks, show something to the players, and, finally, look in the camera display at one time. So, sorry for that, but I'm trying to make some progress in shooting.
Preparations long? Yes they are. :D
Stages:
2 weeks before the game (next I'll write "b.t.g."):
- Make a short plan
- Choose the players
Week b.t.g.:
- Make a plan what epreuves / aventures e.t.c will be in the game
- Make sure that guests will come
3-5 days b.t.g.:
- Buy all materials; make big SURE that everyone will come
- See the weather predictions
2 days b.t.g.:
- Make some epreuves e.t.c.
- Write "Plan Card" and mysteries
- Make the "indices" (en. is boxes) and write the words on them
1 day b.t.g.:
- Make nearly all epreuves e.t.c.
- Get enough sleep (laughing)
- Shoot a pre-title scene (where I tell something)
In the day of th game:
- Get up at
5 o'clock :D
- Do the last preparings
Fort Boyard starts his epreuves!
Faster, higher, stronger! (en)
Toujours plus loin, toujours plus haut, toujours plus fort! (fr)
Быстрее, выше, сильнее! (ru)
Mini-baguettes are taken from Chinese restaraunt, you see.
Thanks for graphics, one of is Fort Boyard 2003-2007.
And now... can you tell me about epreuves, aventures, conception e.t.c.? It is maybe a little bit more important for me.
I'll finish desribing rules later, okay?
